Being on stage is like having sex with fans: Lady Gaga

Pop sensation Lady Gaga has never failed to shock the world and surprise her fans with her antics. She has done it once again as she opens up about her life, career, fans and influence in an interview with Vogue magazine.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta better known as Lady Gaga is on the cover of March issue of Vogue magazine again and once again she has made one of her well-known gaga-esque revelations.

In the interview, Lady Gaga declared, "Sometimes, being onstage is like having sex with my fans. They're the only people on the planet who in an instant can make me just lose it."

On being asked about her live performances, the pop diva replied, "I am quite literally chest open, exposed, open-heart surgery every night on that stage, bleeding for my fans and my music… I have the world at my fingertips. I am not going to saunter around the stage doing pelvic thrusts and lip-synching. That's not at all why I am in this."

However, Gaga doesn't relate with her Hollywood contemporaries. Claiming to be a 'different breed', she says, "I don't feel spiritually connected to anyone in Hollywood makeup and a gown with diamond earrings on. I am just a different breed. I want to be your cool older sister who you feel really connected with, who you feel understands you and refuses to judge anything about you because she's been there."

The singer firmly believes she is one of the greatest in the music industry. "Speaking purely from a musical standpoint, I think I am a great performer. I am a talented entertainer. I consider myself to have one of the greatest voices in the industry. I consider myself to be one of the greatest songwriters. I wouldn't say that I am one of the greatest dancers, but I am really quite good at what I do."

Lady Gaga started performing at a young age of 11 and has come a long way since. She has been traveling and performing for the last three years, though she seems a bit exhausted now.

"I am really f***ing tired. I am at that last mile of the marathon when your fingers and your toes are numb and you can't feel your body, and I am just going on adrenaline. But in the overarching objective of my life, I am really only at mile two. I try to keep that in mind."

Well, this lady has achieved quite a bit already and is still going strong, so we'll just have to wait and watch what she's upto next.
