Rimi Sen

Rimi Sen, or Rimii as she likes to be called these days, was an Odissi dancer who happened to catch the eye of a movie director while auditioning for an ad. And the rest, as they say, is history. Born on 21st September 1981 in Kolkata, Rimi was christened Shubhomitra Sen.

Her school days were spent in Bidya Bharti Girl’s High School. She also trained in Odissi and was part of Aloka Kanungo’s dance group.

Rimi auditioned for a Coke ad when the director noticed her and offered her a role in Hungama (2003).
Rimi Sen’s first movie was as Anjali in Priyadarshan’s Hungama (2005). After working with Hema Malini and Amitabh Bachchan in Baghban (2005), she landed a role in the blockbuster Dhoom (2006) as Abhishek Bachchan’s wife Sweety.

Television’s golden girl, Prachi Desai’s demure and pretty looks catch the eye at first sight. She showed that she was an actress to watch out for in Rock On. Prachi Desai was born on 12th September 1988 in Surat, Gujarat, India. Prachi’s father was involved in theater. Her mother is Ameeta Desai.

Part of her school years were spent in Surat and part of it at St Joseph Convent in Panchgani. She studied at the Sinhgad College of Arts, Science & Commerce in Pune.

She did a course in modeling and was seventeen years old when she got her first role in television.

Prachi Desai’s first role in television was with Balaji Telefilms’ Kasam Se on Zee TV as Bani. She was part of the serial until 2008. She became the surprise winner of Jhalak Dikhla Ja 2 after returning back to the show as a wild card entry.

In Vodafone’s Yeh Hai Jalwa she was seen as a mentor for the team ‘Masti Ki Paathshaala’.

She won the Sabse Favourite Kaun’s Best Newcomer Award as as well as Best Actress on Television at the Kalakar’s Awards.

Eva Green was born Eva Gaëlle Green on July 5, 1980, in Paris, France. She has a non-identical twin sister. Young Eva Green left French school at 17. She switched to English in Ramsgate, Kent, and went to the American School in France for one year. She studied acting at Saint Paul Drama School in Paris for three years, then had a 10-week polishing course at the Weber Douglas Academy of dramatic Art in London. She also studied directing at the Tisch School of Arts at New York University.She developed a wide scope of interests beyond her acting profession and became an aspiring art connoisseur and an avid museum visitor.

Her other activities outside of acting include playing and composing music, cooking at home, walking her terrier, and collecting art. She currently shares time between her two residencies, one is in Paris, France, and one in London, England.

Eva Mendes, also given credit as Eva Mendez was born in Houston, Texas on March 5, 1978. He parents are both Cubans, and contributed to an interesting childhood that saw Eva move to Miami and then Los Angeles, when she was still a young girl. A fiercely independent actress who refuses to be pressed into a conventional mode or typecast, Eva Mendez was studying marketing in the late '90s when an agent stumbled across her photo while perusing Mendez's neighbor's portfolio. Eva Mendes kicked off her acting career in an Aerosmith video. The 25-year-old resident of Los Angeles hadn't considered acting as a career until two and a half years ago, and has never taken an acting class. As the classic Hollywood story goes, she was discovered because her neighbour, a photographer, had her photo in his portfolio and it caught the eye of an agent. Dropping out of school soon after being randomly discovered by an agent, Mendez appeared in a few made-for-television productions and hammed it up with Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan in A Night at the Roxbury before being cast in a prominent role in Urban Legends: Final Cut. After spending the last part of the 1990s in TV roles, music videos and small parts in movies such as A Night at Roxbury and Exit Wounds (both 1998), Eva Mendes had a career breakthrough co-starring with Denzel Washington in Training Day (2001, with Ethan Hawke).
