Her first Tollywood film released in 2005. Titled Vennela, it starred Raja and her in lead roles. The love story was a pretty big hit, especially with the urban audience.

In 2007 she appeared in Madhumasam with Sumanth and Sneha. Another blockbuster for Parvati.

The same year she acted with Mohanlal in a Malayalam film Hello (2007). It turned out to be one of the most successful fillms of the year.

In 2007 she had a small role to play in the Telugu film Yamadonga.

Nayantara

Nayantara was born as Diana Mariam Kurien on 18th November 1984 in Thiruvalla, Kerala, India. Her father worked in the Air Force, so the family moved frequently. She did her twelfth grade at Balikamadom High School in Thiruvalla and graduated in English Literature from Marthoma College, Thiruvalla.

Winning the first runner up spot in the Best Model of Kerala contest in 2002 was a turning point for Nayantara. This helped her get offers to do commercials.

Priya Vasudev Mani Iyer was born on 4th June 1984 in Palakkad, Kerala. She is a Tamil Iyer and her parents are Vasudev and Latha. Priyamani is a student of Psychology and spent most of her growing up years in Bangalore.

Priyamani did not meet with success as all her initial releases like Kangalal Kaidhu Sei, Evare Atagaadu and Satyam failed.

Things brightened up with the release of Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam (2005). While she was appreciated as an actress, the movie evoked lukewarm response. In 2006, she delivered a hit Pellaina Kothalo along with her co-star Jagapathi Babu. The movie told the story of a newly wed couple.

Paaruthi Veeran (2006) was a critical success and earned her an Indian National Award, a Filmfare Award and a Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress. She churned out many more hits like Yamadonga (2007) and Thirakkatha (2008).

She has close to seven releases in 2009 including Mitrudu, Arumugam and Ashokavanam.
