Revealed: February wedding for Lara-Mahesh Bhupathi

Lara Dutta and fiance Mahesh Bhupathi have confessed to Karan Johar on Koffee with Karan that they plan to tie the knot in February next year

Spilling the beans (pun intended) on popular chat show Koffee With Karan has become more the norm than the exception.

The latest news from the sets is that Lara Dutta and fianc © Mahesh Bhupathi have confessed to KJo that they plan to tie the knot in February next year.

Says our source, "Lara and Hesh appeared on the show on Wednesday night. When the KWK host quizzed them about their relationship and romance, they spoke openly and even discussed marriage plans.

When Karan asked them outright about the marriage date, they promptly replied that it would be in February 2011 and that their families were in the process of fixing the date.

Lara even told KJo how the tennis ace proposed to her in New York on Sept 12 this year."

The couple even replied to queries regarding past relationships. Bhupathi was claimed to be the reason behind the actress dumping Dino Morea while some reports even said Lara was responsible for the divorce of Hesh and model Shwetha Jaishankar.

"They spoke candidly about their respective exes and cleared the air on how those relationships were over before theirs started," reveals our source.

Dutta has been previously linked to model Kelly Dorje.

She has been seeing Bhupathi for the last year, ever since the doubles specialist separated from his wife in '09. Mahesh announced the engagement on his Twitter page.

The jodi got engaged when Hesh was in New York for the US Open and Lara was there for a magazine photo shoot.

Bhupathi's Big Daddy Productions and Lara's Bheegi Basanti Production are co-producing Challo Dilli along with Eros International. Recently, the first shooting schedule was completed last month.

After Lara and Mahesh announced their engagement in September, Lara's publicist had told the media that the actress was starting work on Farhan Akhtar's Don 2, so there were no plans for a wedding for the next couple of years.

Recently, when the actress was in Ahmedabad at Gulmohar Mall to promote her forthcoming film No One Killed Jessica, a besotted fan approached her and handed her a jewellery box that contained the ring.

Her admirer refused to leave till she accepted the gift. She chatted with him and posed for a few pictures too.

Wordy feelings

A source close to Balan confirms, "Yes, a fan gave her a diamond ring. But more than the ring, she was touched by the sweet poem he wrote for her, which he presented to her along with the ring."

The actress, a poet herself, was touched by the gesture. In her free time, Vidya pens poetry in Urdu.

She's a big fan of Gulzar saab and Mirza Ghalib's poetry and has long cherished a dream of publishing a book of her work.

The source further reveals that this is not the first time that the actress has received jewellery from one of her admirers.

"A few months ago, a guy left a pair of diamond earrings for her along with a letter, expressing his ardent love and admiration for her at the gate of her Andheri residence.

The letter was not signed. The actress was curious to know his indentity and kept asking people around if they had seen him but nobody had a clue."

The actress still doesn't know who gave her those beautiful diamond studs.

Veena Malik gone; will Ashmit Patel be cornered?

After Sara Khan, Ashmit Patel has had to bid farewell to another ‘good friend’ Veena Malik, who was evicted from Bigg Boss this Friday.

The Pakistani starlet was the last of the housemates to maintain a pro-Ashmit stand. She used to pamper him like a baby; feeding him his morning dose of papaya, making and serving chai, cooking his favourite dishes, massaging him and even providing the daily dose of kisses and bear hugs.

New racy photos of Miley Cyrus leaked online

New York, Dec 25 – Disney star Miley Cyrus is yet again in news for all the wrong reasons.

Just weeks after she was caught on video smoking Salvia from a bong, new racy pictures of the star have been leaked online.

In the first picture posted on TheSuperficial.com, the 18-year-old star is seen lounging on a couch in a black, cut-out dress as an older woman, allegedly her assistant, lifts part of the outfit and places her tongue near Cyrus’ right breast, reports the New York Daily News.

The second snapshot, rumored to be taken at a gay club, features Cyrus lifting her shirt almost to her chest as she and a friend pose with virtually naked males. (ANI)

Halle Berry opens up about her childhood trauma

New York, Dec 25 – In an interview, Halle Berry has made a startling admission about her childhood.

The actress bared her early days trauma on CNN’s Alina Cho as part of her special, ‘Big Stars, Big Giving.’

“I think I’ve spent my adult life dealing with the sense of low self-esteem that sort of implanted in me. Somehow I felt not worthy, ” the New York Post quoted her as saying.

Berry described how her crusade to help domestic violence victims comes from watching her mother being abused by her late father.

She wondered, terrified, “If I would get beat up, if I would get kicked down the stairs . . . before I’m Halle Berry, I’m little Halle who was a little girl growing in this environment that damaged me in some ways, and I’ve spent my adult life trying to really heal from that.”

Asked if she’s made any wrong choices in partners, she said, “As a result of my early years and some other choices my mother made.

Choices that, you know, we often repeat what is taught us. So it is my job to . . . change the legacy.” (ANI)

Priyanka starrer ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ – Up Coming Movie

She had been making news for considerable time the day since she signed the dotted lines for this Vishal Bhardwaj’s thriller ‘7 Khoon Maaf’…. And after a long wait, here’s is the first glimpse of the film’s poster

Bannered under UTV Motion Pictures and VB Pictures, ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Vishal. The film is out-and-out Vishal’s project because, besides producing, he has also written the script, music and background score.

The film is also written by Matthew Robbins while the music is done by Gulzar.

In ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ Priyanka Chopra plays the main protagonist who kills her seven husbands one by one – who range from old to young. Similary, Priyanka character will be shown in different ages, from 20 till 65.

Playing opposite to the actress are Naseeruddin Shah, John Abraham, Irrfan Khan, Annu Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah's son Vivaan Shah, Neil Nitin Mukesh and a Russian actor Aleksandr Dyachenko. Neil is reported to be the youngest of her husbands.

According to sources, the film is based on the Ruskin Bond book, titled ‘Susanna's Seven Husbands’.

‘7 Khoon Maaf’ is expected to hit the screens on 18 February 2011.
